Citizens Bank Park: A Premier Venue in Philadelphia
Located in the heart of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Citizens Bank Park is a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment venue that has become a cornerstone of the city's vibrant culture. Opened in 2004, this iconic ballpark serves as the home of Major League Baseball's Philadelphia Phillies and has hosted numerous high-profile events, including concerts and special sporting events.
Citizens Bank Park was built to replace the historic Veterans Stadium, which was known for its unique atmosphere but lacked modern amenities. The park features a seating capacity of approximately 42,000, offering fans an intimate yet exhilarating experience. The seating arrangements are designed to provide excellent sightlines from every angle, ensuring that every spectator can enjoy the action on the field or stage.
The venue is particularly popular during the baseball season, which typically runs from April to October. However, it also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including concerts featuring top artists and community events. Notable performers who have graced the stage at Citizens Bank Park include Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, and Billy Joel.
Parking at Citizens Bank Park is convenient, with several lots available for fans. It is advisable to arrive early to secure a spot, especially during peak events. For those using public transportation, the park is easily accessible via the Broad Street Line subway. Additionally, fans should consider purchasing tickets in advance to secure the best seats at competitive prices.

Great Show but unbelievable traffic to enter Xfinity
The Lumineers were as good as pre-pandemic. A little bit more R&R as they added a bass, guitar, keyboard and Neyla has been replaced with a violinist. who is very good! And the music is as sweet as ever. However, the Xfinity Center in Mansfield should be avoided for any show. We have attended shows in the past and cannot determine why the traffic was so bad (social distancing?!). Going southbound on 495, it took over 90 minutes to get from the 95 exit to our parking space (~3m)!!! Needless to say, this will be my last trip to the Xfinity Center.
